I am Hooked on Evony
First Evony has many servers that basically act as worlds. Each world has multiple States in which a person can reside. You are given a city that contains open spaces to build on and a Town Hall built for you. You build inside the town, cottages, barracks for troops, academy for research and a relief station. In addition you build the beacon tower, feasting hall which houses your heroes and an Inn that allows you to recruit new heroes. Oh and let us not forget the Embassy and Market.
The city area is where you have spaces to build farms, sawmills, iron mines and quarries. The high your Town Hall is the more resource spaces you have for building these things. If you need resources faster than you are creating them, you can use gold acquired from taxes against your townspeople and purchase them in the market place. If you need more gold you can sell resources in the market place for gold.
While each area looks small you need to realize that you can upgrade stuff to make it bigger. The higher the number on one thing the bigger is it. Such as the sawmill, if you have a sawmill that says it is a level 3, it will be producing more lumber than one that is a level 1. So you do not need a lot of space to actually have a lot of stuff.
Once you get your armies built up, you can go and attack other people’s cities to take their resources such as gold, iron, lumber and stones. Then use that stuff to build more stuff in your city. But watch out people will be attacking you as well. I love plundering people. Some times when I am going up against someone who is bigger than me it can be an adrenaline rush. I get so excited waiting to see if I can take their stuff or not.,br In addition you can join an alliance with other members. Alliances have their own private chat area where you can discuss things such as how to build up bigger, who the alliance is at war with and also let them know if you are being attacked. If you are under attack your alliance members can garrison troops in your embassy to help protect your city. I belong to the Lords alliance and they are a great bunch of people. I always have fun while in there chatting with members.
So head on over there and play with us some time. I promise you will love being apart of the Evony experience. I do mean experience because playing Evony is an experience and an adventure.

I Got to Sit on Santa's Lap
I got to sit on Santa's Lap. Well not really but I did sit on his lap virtually. I went to this website that has a really cool video of Santa and one of his elves where they show off the Ceiva digital photo frame. At one point in the video it lets you enter your first name and what your wish is for Christmas. Then upload a photo and next thing you know Santa is saying your name and your photo is showing up in the Ceiva digital photo frame in the video. The Ceiva digital photo frame lets people send photos directly to your photo frame from cell phones, computers and such. So instantly a photo can appear in the frame when someone sends you a new one. Well back to the video. Then Santa looks in his wish book in the video and there is your name and the wish you typed in. I thought this was so cool, so I emailed it on to my cousin and one of my aunts.
In addition to getting to be in a really cool video with Santa you can also enter the contest. Santa will grant one wish each day until Christmas in the form of a $500 check. I feel torn
I seem to want it all.
1. I want another baby.
2. I want a great job.
3. I want to continue in college.
4. I want to go back into the Army.
5. I want time lots of time with my family.
The thing is though is that I can have a lot of what I want but can't seem to have it all. I can eventually have that new baby. I can have a great job when I get done with college and I can continue in college without having to sacrifice the time I want with my family. However, I really want to go back into the Army. Yet I know if I do that I will be sacrificing some of my time with my family and I do not know if I am ready to do that. Yet at the same time I want it so strongly. So I am feeling pretty torn as to what to do. My husband will be home tonight and we will have this same conversation again that we always end up having. He is very supportive and tells me that I can do anything that I want to do. Problem is though is I want it all and I know that realistically that is not possible. But once he gets home I will not feel so torn cause he will help me prioritize my wants and needs yet again lol.
Ok I am done just rambling about my thoughts and feelings for now. It feels good to vent them once in a while.

How to Have a Great Christmas on a $100 Budget
When my husband and I first got together we both had two small boys from a previous marriage. So our first Christmas together money was really tight and we had four small boys that we had to put Christmas together for. I had to make a $100 cover everything from decorations, gifts to the even the food. My latest article published is my personal account on how I managed to put together a great Christmas and not go over my budget. I hope that my personal account can help others who are faced with the same situation that my family and I was.
Rover Land Used Parts
I personally love Land Rovers; however what I do not like is that if something breaks on it the parts to fix it are so expensive. Not everyone is like me as not everyone breaks things constantly. I am what you would call accident prone when it comes to vehicles. No I do not have major wrecks or anything like that. In fact I have never had a wreck per say. What I do however is back into things, pulling out of my drive way I constantly knock the side mirror off by hitting it against the tree right next to our drive way. I have even had to replace a door a couple of times. So laugh at me I am accident prone. In addition my husband is usually gone out of town a lot and is not around to do maintenence on any of our vehicles and when he does do maintenence our Land Rover is usually the last on the list. Therefore when I go out pushing it hard on the back trails, guess what it tends to have things break. So we are talking expensive with the constant repairs of mirrors, a door here and there and then of course the under the hood Land Rover parts .
So the options presented to me were to either get rid of the Land Rover or find a better way to get parts for it. We have a couple of salvage yards around here but the parts are never a guarantee that they will last for very long. Hitting the internet has proved to be very useful as I checked out some different used parts places and I found this one that actually offers a 90 day guarantee on the used Land Rover parts . I toured their website and found that they purchase Land Rovers from insurance companies and that these vehicles have low miles and have very minor damage from a wreck or air bag suspension. Low mileage for me means that any of the Range Rover used parts that I purchase will at least not have been rode hard and put away wet so to speak. I have had no problem dealing with this company as they have stood by there word on the parts and my husband is happier since we no longer have to fork over a huge amount of money to fix the Land Rover.
So if you have a Land Rover and wish to keep it in good condition without the huge expense give Rover Land a try.

I Was Window Shopping Baby Strollers
As you can tell by my previous posts, I am currently working on adopting a baby. My youngest child is 3 ½ years old and therefore I have no baby furniture left. I probably should have kept what I had with him but I did not so therefore we are going to be needing furniture when it gets closer to time to get a baby. While I do not need anything at this time I still like to window shop online and look at the new stuff on the market for babies. During one of my searches for baby stuff I came across this really cool site for strollers . Shopwiki.com not only lists the strollers that are on the market but also gives complete pros and cons look at the different types that there are. I can look at the basics, extra features and even look by price range. For me this is a great way to window shop different ones quickly and easily as I do not have a lot of time to play hit and miss with search engines.
Since I have never been a big umbrella stroller person, I skipped right past those and went to look at the ones that really fit into what I liked and what would work for us. I did like the look of the all terrain strollers as to me they looked cool with their three wheel design. I have need owned one of those so I read what Shopwiki.com said about them and discovered that they are heavy and bulky so probably not what I am going to want cause in my opinion I exert myself enough with the kids and do not want to have to exert myself anymore by struggling with a stroller . Even though I do not jog I do like the look of the jogging stroller , again a three wheel model. I seen the specs given for jogging but I wonder how it would hold up to just everyday use of the walking mom such as me? I will have to go check one of those out.
